Collaborations

The John R. Oishei Foundation will continue to work to increase opportunities for collaboration, alignment and mergers among nonprofit service providers by supporting collaborations and partnerships, particularly among those that work across sectors and disciplines. Examples of work we have already initiated include the P2 Collaborative, focused on community health in WNY, the HEART Coalition which provides mental health education, prevention and awareness for WNY High School students, Better By Degrees, a Consortium of Higher Education institutions, Read to Succeed Buffalo which has more than 40 organizations committed to literacy, and an arts collaborative of CEPA, Big Orbit Gallery, and just buffalo literary center. In addition, we've formed a staffing collaboration with the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and will continute to share a knowledge management officer, research assistant, and freelance graphic artist. Click on the icons below for more information on the collaborations we've supported.
