Goodwill Industries

"Ninety-eight percent of the individuals referred to Goodwill Industries of Western New York’s Employment & Training Programs are living at or below the federal poverty level upon referral. The majority of these individuals are dependent upon family, friends or an insecure relationship for shelter. Furthermore, food, clothing and other household necessities are inadequate for their daily needs or a reasonable quality of life.  

 

Despite the poor economic climate, Goodwill, in collaboration with supportive local employers and community partners, works towards providing its clients with the work skills and support services that will lead to meaningful employment and independence."
